Hey, folks! I made my first ever Youtube video. I decided to start recapping Arang and the Magistrate. Please, please, PLEASE go see it and leave your comments. Please be nice, because my skin is like those peaches Arang loves so much 🙂 Here’s the link!

I just wanted to take a moment to write that Dr. Who is an amazing show. You may have heard of it as this long-running British sci-fi TV show with insanely devoted fans. Still, its really good. Just subscribe to Netflix or check out a dvd from your local library. I started with the new version that began in 2005 starring Charles Eccleston and Billie Piper. I’m almost done with season 2 and how it fills my heart with warmth! Its more than sci-fi, its really about people and life. I’m so glad that I gave it a chance 🙂

I just finished episode 10 and jeez, this show is just too gorgeous! It makes my heart ache! And though the focus of the show has been the story a bit more than the characters its nice to slowly learn and care more for them, just like how Eun Oh and Arang are naturally growing closer. However, episodes 9-10 slowed down and gave more insight into what makes them tick. Eun Oh isn’t just a typical cold kdrama lead with a hidden fuzzy side. He’s actually never really had a mother. He did everything he could to be her son, but she was too wrapped up in her pain to be there for him. Despite, her huge failings he feels guilty and wants to give her the peaceful life she never had. Eun Oh’s true nature is generous. Even after finding out his time with Arang would be short, instead of shutting her out he wants be good to her now and then send her to heaven.

Last fall Flower Boy Ramyun Shop premiered and I totally missed it. I think I was watching Baby-faced Beauty and Can You Hear My Heart? Despite, the love fest going on at dramabeans I felt that I had too much on my plate to start another drama. Also, Jung Il Woo is very pretty, but not my type. Anyhoo, I finally decided to give it a go and BEHOLD, it lives up to the hype! It’s hilarious, zany, warmhearted, clever, has interesting people, and has TWO guys for me to drool over! That would be Park Min Woo and Lee Ki Woo. No, wait. Chi Soo’s friend at the coffee shop is pretty adorable. Oh, and his friend with the long hair is pretty too…Disregard all that. The show is still good despite being loaded with eye-candy. I just finished episodes 3-4 and feel a little disappointed that each episode is only about 45 minutes. Kdramas usually run about 10 minutes too long, but this is too short! Then again it’s probably better this way wanting more.
